A driver can't do it all alone; it takes a knowledgeable crew to keep the car running at peak performance.

Wayne Ware
Owner/Driver
Wayne Ware hails from Southern, CA., the birthplace of hot-rodding and drag racing. Ware began working on cars and building motors at the age of 16. Working on friends cars and street racing, in the Los Angeles area, funded his first engine project. At the age of 18, he completed a small block Chevy for his 1971 Vega in time to drive it to L.A. Trade Technical College. After obtaining an Automotive Associate degree, Ware began employment with a Compton transmission shop. Ware's first goal was to purchase that same transmission shop. Within four years, Ware purchased the company and it grew from a small shop to one of L.A.'s first minority-owned speed shops, Racer's Emporium. Due to the lack of drag racing in Southern California, Ware opened a stereo and automotive accessories store instead of a high performance shop. He began building custom street cars and hot rods and continues to do so to this day. Now that there is a resurgence of tracks in the Southern California area, in addition to building custom cars, he will also build race cars. Ware has a reputation of a meticulous detailer and completing his work to perfection!

Charitable and community relations work, long a hallmark of WareMotorSports, will again be an important element of the team's activities.
